Skin that is changing requires a different kind of support.

Skin that is changing requires a different kind of support.

When we talk about changing skin, we're not only talking about skin becoming drier or developing visible signs of ageing.

We are often talking about skin behaviour that's starting to change.

Skin that once felt stable may suddenly become more reactive. Products that worked for years may no longer feel right, or work in the same way.

Skin recovery can be slower and balance harder to maintain. Skin can feel dry and oily at the same time, more sensitive, less consistent. Mostly less resilient to highly active routines, stress, hormonal changes, environment, the demands of modern life.

Changing skin becomes less predictable.

This is why we believe support should not only focus on increasing intensity through stronger exfoliation or increasingly complex routines. In many cases, skin is already struggling with regulation, recovery and stability.

A balanced, more modern approach considers supportive actives, hydration, barrier function and recovery together.

Often through fewer, more considered formulations and active ingredients that are doing something meaningful, without constantly pushing skin into cycles of reactivity and correction.

Because when skin begins to change, it is often not about needing more. It is about recognising that what once worked, may no longer be aligned with how skin behaves now.

This is something we’ll continue exploring through The Modern Skin Notes.
